Videogame hero! Pick up you phaser and rid the place of the demon threat!
Your phaser can only fire three shots per minute, how will you survive?
Notes / thoughts:
I really like the last loop of the game (where the background is a grid instead of lines), but am not so sure about the game leading up to that point, mostly for sloppy pacing reasons. In the first bit you have to just wait around for your gun to recharge, with not much to do except dodge some enemies. I thought that would be more interesting that it turned out to be. By the end you have to manage your bullets well or be swamped by monsters.
I don't remember making this game so well anymore, so here's something I wrote at the time:
